There are 24 hours in a day and 7 days in a week – that’s 168 hours a week. In the past week, I’ve been with my son for all but 8 of those hours. For the remaining 160 hours, that’s car rides and park slides, trips to the store and trips to the bathroom. That’s playtime, mealtime, nap time, and story time. It’s outgrowing clothes and growing vocabularies. It’s toy cars and choo-choos, please and thank yous, achoos and bless yous, peekaboos and I see yous, mommy hold yous and I love yous. It’s the biggest adjustment of my life and my greatest life accomplishment. It’s my life as a stay-at-home-mom.
