You might have to shelf it throughout the day. While you’re preparing snacks for your kids, or during your lunch break, or in the midst of that afternoon slump. Notice it, say hi to it, and then set it back on that shelf so that when you go to bed tonight and look back on your day, it won’t have been about your funk, but about the fun you had instead – the adventures with your kids, a shared laugh with a coworker, or your jam that played on the radio.
