I’m in the middle of something here. I’ve had a total and complete commode moment happen, and I can’t yet tell you how it’s a good thing, because I’m still in the middle of it – in the waiting period. I’ve never written an installment during this stage of the turnaround, until now.
I was in the basement hallway earlier this week and noticed a wall switch and outlet that have never been updated to match everything else. Rather than pay the electrician $90 an hour for something that would take him less than fifteen minutes to complete, I decided to do it myself.
Death is fascinating to me. I don’t mean the act of dying physically. I mean what happens the moment the heart stops beating, when soul leaves body. It’s fascinating that one second a person occupies their body, and the next? What’s left is just that. A body.
